Mood...

Board

When designing a space it’s important to start with a mood board. Not only does it help organize all of the materials being used, but it helps create a clearer vision of the space. Unsure of where to start? Begin by choosing an item that inspires you, like a vintage Turkish rug. From there, you can build a color scheme. When selecting materials, be sure to think about what you will like in the future and try to shy away from what’s currently trending. Lastly, enjoy the process! It’s fun to see your ideas come together!

Office

Styling

The key to getting a lot of work done at home is by having a well-designed office, right? When decorating an office create a space that is bold, sophisticated and comfortable. Style the desk with interesting accessories, like a variation of antique jars, a fun table lamp and art. For comfortable seating, add a beautiful printed pillow to a traditional chair and intriguing Tibetan fur pull-up stools for guests. Small details, like recycled African beads and florals, will make the room feel finished and relaxed.

Chic Table

Matters

Are you hosting a dinner party or brunch? A beautifully styled table can elevate any event. Creating a chic and effortless tablescape can be achieved in three easy steps. First, imagine your table as a blank canvas with endless design possibilities. Begin by choosing a theme, style or color palette. Then, play with the contrast of colors and materials. For example, combining glam with rustic will create balance and add depth. Include natural organic layers, like fruit, flowers or greenery, to the table. Lastly, enjoy your company and the conversation!

Bookcase

Styling

When it comes to styling shelves it’s all about balance, layering and editing. Start off by stacking and placing coffee table books. A little designer tip, keep the book binding colors to three to four, gray, white, black and an accent color. Next, incorporate accessories. Mix natural items, like stone vessels and woven bowls, modern sculpture and antique pieces. Lastly, a bookcase is the perfect spot to showcase art and fun table lamps.

Bold, Beautiful Bedroom

A bedroom is a place of retreat and relaxation, but it should also showcase your personality.  A neutral headboard and bedding is the perfect backdrop for a bold printed lumbar pillow and knitted wool blanket. To create visual interest mix traditional and modern pieces, like a brass swing-arm floor lamp and butterfly prints with a modern side table and terrarium. For a bold statement add a pop of color in a few accessories throughout the room.
