Solid neutral upholstery sofas in an indoor/outdoor fabric or linen creates a sense of calm. Pair it with a sisal or wool rug in the same color for a soothing color palette. Introduce patterns and prints in pillows, throws, vases and art.

A key element to the coastal look is natural materials. Include a mix of rattan, woods and raffia. A collection of weathered, textural materials recreates a soothing coastal vibe.

Bring in greenery and give the room some life! Add palms, a fiddle leaf fig tree, succulents, etc... to bring a fresh edge to the space. It's also an easy way to get more color in the room.

I am not a fan of cliche themed accessories. Don't hang up framed seashells or have coral everywhere. You want your living room to look more classic. Include beautiful ginger jars, driftwood sculpture, art that speaks to you, fun baskets, etc... Have fun! Accessories are always my favorite part- the details matter!
